of Animal Nutrition Distance Course
Kansas State University’s IGP Institute is offering a four-week, self-paced, online course focusing on the elementary principles of farm animal nutrition including anatomy, nutrient digestion, absorption, metabolism, and a general overview of the nutrients necessary for animal growth and development.

 

The course, iGP 730 Fundamentals of Animal Nutrition, will be held September 28-October 30, 2016. The course material is specifically designed for industry professionals looking to gain a larger understanding of animal nutritional requirements and the digestive systems of production animals. Participants will understand how an animal’s digestive system and nutritional requirements affects the ingredients and makeup of feed. The course offers one continuing education credit.
