本協會與作物永續發展協會中華民國分會、台灣農業化學會、行政院國家科學委員會、國立臺灣大學生化科技系、與國立臺灣大學農業化學系於2012年6月28日在國立臺灣大學凝態科學暨物理學館演講廳舉辦「混合品系基因改造食品之科學與管理展望研討會」，研討會議程如下。此外，該研討會之演講者參與於6月29日下午在臺灣大學生物資源暨農學院舉辦之「混合品系基因改造食品座談會」，邀請產、官、學、研各界菁英共聚ㄧ堂。該座談會由徐源泰院長主持，由3位外賓演講，然後討論與交流。
